| OUR FOOD PANTRY NEEDS FOOD! The economy has hit our Food Pantry hard. We are seeing an increase in demand but a decrease in donations. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please help us eliminate hunger by donating pasta, pasta sauce, tuna, macaroni and cheese, soups, canned fruits and vegetables, Ramen noodles, rice, peanut butter, jelly and any other nonperishable items. Or you can make a financial donation to purchase food through the link above. |

| Board of Directors Openings St. Columba is always looking for individuals who are interested in serving as board members. The Board of Directors provides oversight for fulfilling the mission of St. Columba. Membership is perfect for people who are busy during the day, but still want to get involved. We meet one night a month and have an annual fundraiser. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity to help others, please contact Alicia at 627-6748 for more information. |
| Mission To operate an ecumenical ministry in response to the Biblical Mandate to minister to persons in need, whether these needs are economic, social or spiritual. The ministry is a direct, hands on ministry recognizing the integrity of individuals and working with them where they are. The ministry is indirect, working with churches and other organizations to establish activities that address people’s needs. |

| Heritage With a Presbyterian heritage, in 1975 St. Columba Ministries began a social justice ministries to the low/poverty level income residents of Robin Hood Apartment complex. In 1986, St. Columba Ecumenical Ministries became an ecumenical corporation reaching out the to poor and dispossessed in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. |
